So i was having a conversation with a cishet friend, who for some reason had not realized i like women.

I mentioned it casually in conversation and he got cool with it very quickly, but then he politely asked me what my gender is (i guess he realized he had already made 1 wrong assumption).

Honestly it caught me off guard, and although people use she/her for me out of default, i could not get myself to tell him “i am a woman/girl”.

So i stammered, made a few vaguely gender related word sounds, and clumsily ended with: yeahh…. woman… something like that i guess?
